My Bio!
Hi! I’m Alyssa. I’m a lifestyle, portrait, and nature/landscape photographer based in Des Moines, Iowa! I am passionate about capturing people’s beauty and giving them photos that will be cherished for generations to come. I find joy in helping my clients become comfortable behind the camera. Some people are shyer than others and I love seeing the progression of comfortability as our session goes on. I am a God-fearing Christian and attend Walnut Creek Church and I am a part of a community group that is connected to the church. I enjoy being active by playing sand volleyball and tennis - hanging out with friends and family – and enjoying good food! I’m always down for an adventure whether that be a spontaneous road trip, weekend getaway, or a planned vacation, I’ll be ready for the moment!

“My experience with Alyssa was great. She was very patient with me as I can be a bit camera shy. Her kind, calm, and funny personality allowed me to feel comfortable which helped create natural shots. I really liked how she would give me suggestions on how to position my body, but she would also allow me to be myself. I could tell she knew how to work her camera so that the photos looked just right. She seemed very experienced with how light worked and what places would create the best light and background. “Alyssa was very good at her taking shot of me. Working with her was great, she was very kind and caring during the process! I love the view that she have picked, it was great though it was very windy and gloomy that day she still made it very fun!
